Term Definition
wild

Wild salmon spawn in cold rivers and streams, migrate through estuaries (where freshwater meets the ocean), grow up in the ocean, and then return to their home streams to spawn and die. Farm raised salmon do not complete this life cycle -- salmon farms harm the environment and produce fish that are less healthful (and perhaps harmful) for you.
